\"Comment\"There have been many interesting comments posted by visitors to the AAF Collection.\u00a0 Some were posted by actual veterans who reminisced about their time during World War II.\u00a0 Some were posted by relatives of veterans who were excited to find a picture of their loved one.\u00a0 These comments are becoming a useful resource in and of themselves.<\/p>\n

To make them easier to share and read through, you can now see comments in the item list.<\/p>\n

You could always see the comments for a particular item by viewing that item’s detail page.\u00a0 (Hint<\/em>:\u00a0 Click the item title or its picture to bring up the Item Detail<\/strong> page.)<\/p>\n

Now, you can also read through all comments at once.\u00a0 To do so, click View Items<\/strong> in the menu bar above.\u00a0 Select List Items<\/strong> under the Choose an Action<\/em> drop-down box.\u00a0 Click Recent Comments<\/strong> under List by<\/em> and then click the Show<\/strong> button.\u00a0 Or, view Recent Comments<\/a> now.<\/p>\n

You will see a list of items that have associated comments, in the order of items with the most recent comment first.\u00a0 Under each item, comments appear from the most recent to the least recent.<\/p>\n

Note:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/span> The comments displayed this way are selected<\/em> comments only.\u00a0 This means a comment appears only after approval by the curator.\u00a0 However, it and all comments about a particular item will always appear immediately on the item’s detail page.<\/p>\n
