Raymond A. Heilman Collection
Technical Sergeant Raymond "Bud" Heilman from Chester, Pennsylvania was an armorer 911 with the 11th Bombardment Group Heavy, 42nd Squadron. He survived the attack on Pearl Harbor at Hickam Field on December 7, 1941. He served at Midway, Guadalcanal, Espiritu Santos and the Solomon Islands from 1942 through 1944. He served from 1937 to 1945.
